Before first use, sterilise the spoon in boiling water for 3–5 minutes, then remove it carefully and allow it to cool completely. Do not boil for longer than instructed. After each use, hand wash with warm water and mild dishwashing liquid, rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before placing it in the clean, dry case. Do not use hard brushes, abrasive cleaners or sharp utensils that could damage the surface.

Suitable from approximately 6 months, when the child is developmentally ready for complementary foods. Always use under direct adult supervision. This is a feeding utensil, not a toy or teether.

Check the spoon and case before every use. Discontinue use and replace immediately at the first sign of cracking, tearing, discolouration, stickiness or other damage. Always check food temperature before feeding. Never leave the spoon or storage case with an unattended child, and keep the empty case out of reach during feeding.

An adult must handle boiling-water sterilisation. Allow the spoon to cool completely before giving it to a child. Clean and dry the spoon and case thoroughly between uses.
